Court Remands Popular Tiktoker ‘Immunizer’ Over Alleged Cyberb¥llying and Defamation of Mohbad’s Widow, Omowunmi

Oladimeji Hammed, popularly known as “Immunizer,” has been remanded at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre in Lagos after being arraigned before the Samuel Ilori Magistrate Court in Ogba over allegations of cyberb¥llying and defaming Omowunmi Cynthia Aloba, the widow of late singer, Mohbad.

Hammed, who was arrested on Monday, was brought before the court on several charges relating to the alleged use of social media platforms to ridicule, malign, and expose the complainant to public h@tred and contempt.

Although the court granted him bail, it ordered that he remain in custody until he fulfills the conditions attached to his release.

The presiding magistrate directed the defendant to provide two sureties, each with evidence of a bank account balance of at least N700,000. One surety must be a serving state civil servant, while the other must be a blood relative. Both are also required to present proof of current tax payments.

According to the charges, Hammed allegedly made a series of online posts between February and March 2026 which prosecutors said were capable of damaging the complainant’s reputation and putting her safety at risk.

The prosecution alleged that on February 8, 2026, he claimed online that Mohbad’s widow was planning to leave Nigeria before justice was achieved in the case surrounding her husband’s d+ath. On February 11, he allegedly published claims that she failed to deny accusations of infidelity during a court proceeding.

He was also accused of sharing posts on February 19 concerning an alleged leak of the complainant’s private images, and of making additional derogatory remarks about her character on social media on March 14.

Prosecutors told the court that the cumulative impact of the publications subjected Aloba to public ridicule, hostility, and har@ssment, allegedly leading to an att@ck on her by members of the public on March 15, 2026.

The matter still in court and has been adjourned for further hearing.
