The Dark Tunnel of Uncertainty We Entered as a Nation Has Changed, Our Economy Has Recovered From Bankruptcy — President Tinubu declares

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has assured members of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Nigeria that his administration has placed the country on a stronger footing, declaring that Nigeria has moved away from the economic uncertainty it faced when he assumed office.

Speaking during his recent visit to the Catholic bishops, Tinubu identified security, quality of life, and economic stability as key concerns of Nigerians, insisting that his government has made progress in addressing the challenges.

The President said, “The country has been placed on sound footing. The economy has recovered. The alarm for bankruptcy, the dark tunnel of uncertainty that we entered into when I came in, has changed.”

Tinubu further stated that the economic turnaround under his administration is becoming clearer, adding that the spirit and confidence of Nigerians are improving.

“The spirit of the people and the economic turnaround that we have been passing through is now clearer. The economy is recovered, I say, from bankruptcy,” he said.

The President also reaffirmed his belief in the reforms being implemented by his administration, linking his confidence to his background, profession, and personal convictions.
