FG Orders Tertiary Institutions to Expel Students Found Guilty of Kidn@pping
The Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, has directed Vice Chancellors, Rectors and Provosts of tertiary institutions across the country to dismiss any student found culpable of involvement in kidn@pping or related criminal activities, following due investigation.
Alausa also ordered heads of tertiary institutions to strengthen internal intelligence gathering and deepen collaboration with the Department of State Services (DSS) and other security agencies to safeguard students both on and off campuses.
The minister gave the directive as part of efforts to strengthen security across tertiary institutions and ensure campuses remain safe environments for learning.
