Re-elected Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what he described as his support for a free and fair governorship election in the state.
Adeleke made the remarks while addressing supporters after securing victory in the Osun governorship election, where he promised to continue pursuing growth under his renewed five-point agenda.
“At this point, I must deeply appreciate Mr. President, His Excellency Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for his strong support for a free and fair election,” Adeleke said.
The governor also reaffirmed his support for Tinubu’s bid to return as President in the 2027 presidential election.
“Mr. President is a son of Osun State, and I hereby reaffirm my earlier endorsement of him for a second term in the 2027 presidential election,” he declared.
Adeleke had previously endorsed Tinubu for a second term, despite belonging to the opposition.
The governor said his administration would continue its development drive under his renewed five-point agenda, as he begins another term in office.
