Actor Kunle Omisore has revealed that he has an automatic emotional “switch” that helps him detach from people and situations that bring him stress.
Speaking during a chat with a host, the actor said once he begins to feel frustrated or stressed by someone, his feelings for them can unconsciously disappear.
According to him, no one, regardless of their status, is worth disturbing his peace.
“If it stresses me, I’m done. If a king came to a feast here, if he’s going to keep stressing me, I’ve yen maa salo,” he said, explaining that he would simply leave the situation.
Kunle further described having what he called an “auto-mechanism emotional motor mechanism” within him that automatically switches off his emotions when he feels frustrated.
“When I say I love you, I love you. If you frustrate me, that thing will switch off unconsciously, so I don’t control it. And when it switches off, I will be like, ‘Oh, I really said I love you?’ That means it is switched off,” he said.
When asked if he could really switch off just like that, the actor replied, “Just like that.”
He added that he simply does not like being stressed, joking that there is only one thing he permits to stress him.
“I don’t just want to be stressed. The only thing that is allowed to stress me is when I don’t have money,” he said.
