Triple M¥rder: Lindsay Clancy’s lawyer calls on Pres. Trump to grant her a pardon

The lawyer representing Lindsay Clancy, the Massachusetts woman accused of Lawyer begs Trump to pardon mum accused of k+lling her 3 children after jury deadlocks k+lling her three young children, has appealed to US President Donald Trump to consider pardoning his client after her trial ended in a mistrial.

Clancy’s attorney, Kevin Reddington, made the appeal during an interview on ABC’s Interview on Tuesday, days after a judge declared a mistrial because the 12-member jury could not reach a unanimous verdict.

Reddington said he hoped Trump would consider a pardon for Clancy based on the type of person she is and what she has been through.

“Mr President, I would hope that you would consider this young lady,” he said, referencing Trump’s description of the case as a tragedy.

However, Trump’s pardon powers apply to federal offences, while Clancy was prosecuted in Massachusetts state court.

Clancy, 36, is accused of fatally str@ngling her children Cora, five, Dawson, three, and eight month old Callan at their Duxbury home in January 2023. She jumped from a bedroom window afterward in an apparent s¥icide attempt and was left paralysed.

Prosecutors she deliberately planned the k+llings and ensured her husband was out of the house before carrying them out.

Her defence argued she was suffering from postpartum psychosis and was therefore not legally responsible for her actions. Forensic psychiatrist Dr Phillip Resnick testified that Clancy was suffering from severe depression and was frankly psychotic at the time of the k+llings.

Jurors deliberated for more than 38 hours before splitting 11–1 in favour of acquittal, according to Reddington.

Trump had earlier described the case as a shame and a horrible tragedy, saying “She did a horrible, horrible thing, There’ll be a price. It’s going to be mental institution or jail or something, but I guess they’re going to go through another trial.”
