Ikechukwu, the husband of the woman recently arrested over the mol%ststion of her daughter, has broken his silence, claiming he had no knowledge of what was happening until a friend showed him a video.
According to him, he returned from his business on Thursday evening and was unaware of the incident until his friend called him, showed him a video on his phone and told him to come over.
He said, “I saw the video. It was my wife and I saw my daughter. She was mol%sting the child. I got kind of confused, Could this be true?”
Ikechukwu said he immediately went home to confront his wife, but she denied the video and claimed it was generated by artificial intelligence AI.
He recalled asking her, “What exactly is this that I saw on the internet?” before she replied that it was AI and urged him not to believe it.
According to him, while he was still trying to understand what had happened, police officers arrived at their home, searched the premises and arrested his wife.
He claimed that it was at the police station, while she was being questioned, that she admitted that the incident was real.
Ikechukwu said the police later asked whether he knew about what his wife had been doing to their daughters, and both he and his wife reportedly told them that he had no knowledge of it.
He said he was devastated after hearing her admission, adding, “I got weak. I got tired. How come this kind of a thing can happen?”
The distraught father said he had never imagined that his wife could do such a thing to their daughter, describing himself as totally disappointed in her.
He explained that he decided to speak publicly because he expected people to make different claims about the situation and wanted the public to hear his side of the story.
