Popular TikToker Peller has said living outside Nigeria has made him appreciate the country’s environment, particularly its weather, despite the challenges Nigerians face.
Speaking in a recent video, Peller joked about how the intense heat in his current location has made outdoor activities difficult, saying he and his wife have struggled to enjoy the peaceful life they envisioned.
“Peaceful life is boring, then the sun is burning over there,” he said.
He said the sun is so intense that recording a video outdoors for just a few minutes could leave someone visibly darker.
“You can’t even do video outside for 10 minutes like this, you go don black come, I swear bro,” Peller said.
The TikToker then urged Nigerians not to overlook the beauty of their country because of its economic difficulties, saying the natural environment is something people should appreciate.
“Forget say Nigeria is suffering, say money… bro, God oh He create Nigeria in a beautiful place,” he said.
Comparing the weather with where he currently lives, Peller joked that the heat was strong enough to cook food outdoors.
“He fit fry egg,” he said, adding that the sun could even “fry yam” because of how hot it gets.
Peller’s comments appeared to be a humorous way of encouraging Nigerians to appreciate the country’s climate and natural beauty while highlighting his experience with the extreme heat abroad.
