A traditional woman has criticised feminism, describing it as a threat to the younger generation and arguing that some feminist beliefs conflict with traditional values on marriage, motherhood and gender roles.
Speaking during a trending episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast by Glitch Africa Studios, she questioned women who reject childbirth and challenge men over how they speak to them.
“Feminism, honestly speaking, is destroying our generation. It has gotten into their head,” she said, arguing that the ideology was influencing how younger women viewed relationships and their roles in society.
“This is not our culture, for goodness’ sake. We’ve imported dem%nic ideas,” she added, urging feminists to “come back to your senses” before asking, “What equal right are you fighting for?”
She also criticised women who refuse to cook or wash for their partners, mimicking what she described as their attitude towards domestic responsibilities in relationships.
“If you are marrying me, I can’t cook. I can’t wash. That’s me. I can’t,” she said, adding that s+x was the only thing some women were willing to offer their partners.
The traditional woman further defended traditional views on v+rgin+ty, describing it as a woman’s pride. She said her husband was her first s+x¥al partner and the father of her children.
Her remarks came during a discussion with a younger woman who challenged her position, highlighting differing views on feminism, relationships, equality and traditional gender roles.
