I’m Living in Fe@r – Actress Evan Okoro Cries Out Over Alleged Thre@ts from Husband

Nollywood actress Evan Okoro has publicly cried out over thre@ts to her life, alleging that her estranged husband, Chibuzo Erikife, is end@ngering her safety following the breakdown of their marriage.

In an emotional video, Okoro said she has been living in fear after Erikife allegedly told her, “If you leave me, I will buy you.” She claimed she had already submitted a petition to the police over the thre@ts.

“This marriage is not working. The shoe I took home is not my size,” she said. “They didn’t pay my bride price, and my family recently called them to come and do it properly.”

According to her, Erikife became controlling and aggr+ssive, especially over her finances. She alleged that he tried to take money she received from a recent business trip to Lagos.

“I got a little money for an advert in Lagos—less than my normal endorsement fee. He wanted the money, and when I refused, he got angry,” she said. “He didn’t even call to check on me after the trip. It’s been over two weeks now.”

Okoro also claimed her husband stopped being intim@te with her and showed no emotional support. Despite reporting his behaviour to his family, nothing changed.

She further alleged that her husband is jealous of her achievements, particularly after she posted the house she built on social media.

“People are saying he wants to k+dnap me because I posted the house. I built that house myself. I started it before he came into my life.”

Okoro expressed deep concern for her safety, revealing she’s had disturbing dreams and is hearing rumors of potential harm.

“I’m not asking anyone for money. I just want to finish my house and focus on my life. If I keep living like this, I will go down six feet,” she added.

She called on the public to speak out if anything happens to her, saying she’s done everything possible to save her marriage, but her life now takes priority.
