American actress and model Mia Goth has filed for divorce from actor Shia LaBeouf, ending their turbulent relationship after about a decade.
Goth, 32, filed the divorce petition on Tuesday, citing “irreconcilable differences” and stating that the couple separated on July 28, 2025. She is seeking primary legal and physical custody of their four-year-old daughter, Isabel, while asking that neither she nor LaBeouf be awarded spousal support.
Goth and LaBeouf, 40, began dating in 2012 after meeting while filming “Nymphomaniac: Vol. II.” They married in Las Vegas in 2016, separated in 2018 and later reconciled in 2020. Their daughter was born in March 2022.
The divorce filing follows a difficult period for LaBeouf, who was arrested in New Orleans in February after a bar altercation. He pleaded guilty in June to three counts of simple battery and received a six-month suspended sentence and two years of probation. He was also ordered to stay away from the victims and the bar.
LaBeouf has previously faced other legal troubles, including arrests in New York and Georgia and a 2020 case involving battery and petty theft.
The filing also comes after singer FKA Twigs recently settled her long-running legal dispute with LaBeouf over allegations of sexual, physical and emotional abuse, which he denied. As part of the resolution, a non-disclosure agreement was terminated, allowing Twigs to publicly discuss her experience.
