Just In: Abuja–Kaduna Train Derails, Passengers Evacuated
A train heading from Abuja to Kaduna derailed on Tuesday morning, leaving several coaches off the tracks and sparking panic among commuters.
The incident, which happened shortly after the train left Abuja around 11 a.m., caused chaos as frightened passengers rushed to safety. Eyewitnesses described the scene as tense, with many scrambling to evacuate the overturned carriages.
The exact cause of the derailment is still unknown, and officials have not yet confirmed whether there were any inj¥ries or fatalities.
Military personnel were swiftly deployed to the site to secure the area and assist stranded passengers. Authorities are expected to issue a formal statement in due course.
