Several people are feared d*ad following an att*ck by suspected herdsmen on Aso A community in Mararaba, near Abuja, along the border with Nasarawa State.
The vi*lence reportedly began after a clash between a farmer and a herder led to the herder’s d*ath. In apparent retaliation, armed att*ckers stormed the community, k*lling residents, b*rning houses, and forcing many to flee.

Security forces have been deployed to restore order, but tensions remain high amid fears of further att*cks, including possible reinforcements from nearby Keffi.
A motorcyclist carrying a police officer to the scene was also reportedly ambushed and k*lled.

Authorities have yet to confirm the exact number of casualties as residents call for urgent action to prevent further vi*lence.
