U.S. Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, has revealed that President Donald Trump directed the Pentagon to prioritize the protection of Nigerian Christians allegedly targeted by ISIS-linked t+rrorists.
Speaking on the operation, Hegseth disclosed that even though the partnership took about a year to materialize, Trump “never waivered” and the mission quietly resulted in the elimination of ISIS’ second-in-command in Nigeria, alongside hundreds of f+ghters connected to att@cks on Christians and thr+ats against the United States homeland.
According to him, U.S. intelligence gathered during the operation played a major role in the success of the str+kes.
He further stated that the operation was part of a broader security effort ordered by Trump to confront extremist thr+ats and protect vulnerable Christian communities in Nigeria.
