Nigerian lady Blessing Aribisala, who appreciated her husband for buying them s Christmas chicken on Twitter has been receiving donations from Nigerians after her post went viral.
Blessing who tweeted with the Twitter handle @Adebless2020, posted a photo of the chicken and thanked her husband for blessing the family.
She tweeted, “My husband is the best husband in the whole universe. He brought this home this morning. First Christmas festival as Mrs. My one and only may God prosper your way and answer all your silent prayers as you always make me happy. Thank you very much, my darling husband.”
Blessing’s post initially attracted negative comments from several Twitter users who felt she was making a noise over an chicken.
However, many social media users were moved sense of gratitude and appreciation which led to the heavy donation given to her yesterday.
The said she revealed that she decided to appreciate her husband because he is a security official who had not been paid since 2016 but he still went out of his way to buy a Christmas chicken for the family.
She tweeted, “I guess you all don’t know where this is coming from. My husband is a security guard working on contract. He has been working and he hasn’t received any salary since 2016. If you don’t know, he made my day. So stop dragging.”

Nigerian singer, Simi also announced that she had gifted the lady N200, 000 for Christmas, a tweet which was acknowledged by Blessing

@Valhalla_X0 also made a donation of N100,000 which was acknowledged by Blessing. He also revealed that his friend had made a separate donation of N10,000 which was also acknowledged by the lady.

A businessman identified as @atobacool, also made a donation of N100,000 to Mrs. Aribisala while several others donated between N5,000 and N15, 000.
The lady also thanked Nigerians for donating money to her and her husband.
