Popular broadcaster and owner of Agidigbo FM, Oriyomi Hamzat, has publicly apologized to Nigerian singer Naira Marley over earlier allegations linking him to the de@th of his former signee, Mohbad.
Hamzat recalled that in September 2024, following widespread outrage over Mohbad’s demise, he had directed Agidigbo FM to stop playing all Marlian Records songs.
However, speaking on air, the broadcaster announced that the two-year ban has now been lifted, confirming that Naira Marley’s music will return to the station’s playlist.
Expressing regret for his earlier stance, Hamzat admitted that he had wrongly judged the artiste and assured that Marlian Records tracks would once again enjoy airplay on Agidigbo FM.
