An Abuja-based businessman has raised alarm over the dist¥rbing behavior of a domestic help he employed through a popular nanny agency in the city.
Narrating his experience, the businessman revealed that the 27-year-old woman, a mother of two, started work on July 5 and was responsible mainly for caring for his 11-month-old baby. Despite living in a six-bedroom duplex with multiple toilets and even being provided her own quarters, the nanny was caught ur+nating inside a bowl in the kitchen.
According to him, when confronted, she shockingly claimed she did it “so the house could like her more.”
The businessman added that she also k+ssed his infant son, an act that further alarmed the family. The situation escalated when neighbors in the estate compelled her to drink her own ur+ne after the incident came to light.
He explained that the nanny was well treated in his household:
Paid ₦40,000 salary (as fixed by the agency) plus ₦10,000 for toiletries
Fed three square meals daily and included in family outings
Did not do house cleaning, as a separate cleaner handled that once a week
Even got her hair done whenever his wife went to the salon
“She comes in by 9am, leaves around 9 or 10pm, and has her own quarters to sleep in. Everything was provided for her, yet she still behaved in this strange manner,” he said.
The businessman disclosed that the family who initially brought her eventually had to come and take her away after the shocking revelations.
