According to a report by Channels TV, Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, recently talked about tough times he faced when he first took charge. He revealed that there was a person known for secretly controlling all the council leaders in the FCT. Before Wike started, people warned him that this man’s influence was so strong that anyone sitting in his position would have to follow his orders.

Instead of being afraid, Wike decided to face the situation head-on. He went to his office, sat firmly in his chair, and challenged the man to prove his control. Wike told him plainly that he was aware of this power but was ready to stand his ground. This bold move surprised many.

Right after this, the man chose to leave by asking for a transfer. Wike’s courage had broken the invisible hold the man had over the councils. It showed that real leadership means standing up to hidden pressures and refusing to be controlled.

Wike also talked about people advising him to bring in religious leaders for prayers when he came into office, thinking spiritual problems might be causing the issues. Although he agreed to this, nothing strange happened, which made him focus more on solving real, practical problems.
