Davido breaks silence after video shows him being attacked in Delta [VIDEO]

Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Davido has finally spoken after a video of him being hit in the head sparked outrage online.

The incident, which occurred after his performance at a wedding in Warri, Delta State, was believed by his fans to be an attack.

After his performance, Davido reportedly stopped by at a popular night club in Warri.

The trending video captured the singer leaving the night club when he was slapped in the head by a man from the crowd.

However reacting to the controversy, Davido in a post on X, clarified that it was his security personnel that mistakenly hit his head while trying to protect him from an overzealous fan.

While dismissing fears of an attack, the singer wrote “That was my security. Hit me by mistake.”
