Actress Nkechi Blessing-Sunday says she has never been in a relationship with a man wealthier than herself.
Speaking on a recent podcast, she revealed that she had “dated down” three times in the past but has vowed never to repeat the experience.
“I’ve never dated someone who has more money than I do. I’ve dated down three times, and I’m not doing that anymore,” she said, noting that while she isn’t materialistic, she now prioritizes her own financial stability.
Her comments follow her split from younger boyfriend, Xxssive, whom she began dating in 2021. Their once-public romance, often displayed on social media, ended after the pair unfollowed each other on Instagram. Nkechi later confirmed the breakup, insisting there was no bad blood and that she is enjoying singlehood.
Addressing critics of her preference for younger men, the actress maintained that she remains unbothered by public opinion.
