BBNaija Season 10: Faith’s Disqualification Was Deserved — Tacha Backs Big Brother’s Decision

Reality TV star and influencer, Natacha Akide, popularly known as Tacha, has supported Big Brother Naija’s decision to disqualify Faith, one of the Season 10 finalists.

Speaking during an interview on TVC, Tacha said the disqualification was justified, stressing that Faith’s conduct went against the show’s rules and the principle of mutual respect.

“People are saying Faith shouldn’t have left, but I think he should have. When I saw the clip of what happened , the dr@gging of the HOH’s bucket, it just didn’t make sense. As much as we demand respect, we should also give it, especially to the office of the Head of House,” she said.

Tacha, who was disqualified from the Pepper Dem edition in 2019 after a violent clash with Mercy Eke, said physical c%nfrontation in the house is a clear vi%lation of the rule book.

“There’s a rule book in the house. You can’t, in any way, be physical with another housemate. Once that line is crossed, Big Brother has every right to decide your fate,” she explained.

She also pointed out that Faith’s reaction after the incident might have worsened his case.

“When he was called to the diary room, he wasn’t even apologetic. I watched that clip and thought it was after the disqualification he still seemed unbothered,” she said.

Reflecting on her own experience, Tacha noted that making it into the Big Brother house alone is already an achievement.

“In my head, even if I get evicted, I’m still a winner. Maybe that’s the same mindset Faith has, confidence or maybe overconfidence but that’s how it looked,” she added.
