Initial reports suggest the incident may have resulted from a collision involving another train along the rail corridor, forcing a temporary suspension of operations on the route. Some passengers expressed frustration over what they described as a lack of immediate communication from railway authorities following the incident.
Videos and images circulating online showed distressed travellers gathered along the tracks as railway personnel and bystanders assessed the situation. While the full extent of inj¥ries and d@mage remains unclear, the disruption has raised fresh concerns about passenger safety and crisis response on one of Nigeria’s busiest rail routes.
