INEC Inspects ADC’S New Secretariat in Rivers State

INEC Inspects ADC’S New Secretariat in Rivers State

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has inspected the Rivers State of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

In a statement by the Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the Rivers State ADC Chairman, Mr. Emmanuel Bright Onyebuchi on Tuesday March 24, 2026 the visit by officials of INEC was significant.

According to the Statement, the ADC Rivers State Chairman,Chief Amb. Leader Sampson personally received the INEC delegation at the ultra-modern facility located at No. 118 Woji Road, GRA, Port Harcourt.

While the inspection was going on, Chief Amb. Sampson expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the INEC team for their visit and unwavering support.

He also used the occasion to formally notify the commission of the party’s forthcoming Ward, Local Government Areas, State and National Congresses slated for next month.

The ADC chieftain stressed that the party remains fully committed to due process and genuine internal democracy.

The INEC officials, expressed delight at the facilities present at the new Secretariat and gave the secretariat a clean bill of health.

They showered praises on the level of organisation and applauded Chief Sampson for his effective and result-oriented leadership.

The visitors further assured the party of INEC’s readiness to collaborate at all levels in line with the Commission’s constitutional mandate.

According to the statement, the development follows renewed activities in the ADC and signals a fresh push to strengthen its structures ahead of future elections.
