A senior figure within the All Progressives Congress (APC), Faruk Adamu Aliyu, has addressed ongoing discussions surrounding the political role of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, amid evolving alliances in Nigeria’s political landscape.

Aliyu made the remarks during an interview on Arise News, where he responded to questions about Wike’s position in the current administration despite his longstanding association with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

His comments come at a time when political observers continue to analyze shifting loyalties and cross-party collaborations ahead of future elections.

Speaking on the issue, Aliyu noted that Nigeria’s political history is not unfamiliar with situations where individuals serve in governments that differ from their party affiliations.
