Fast-rising singer Zerry DL has sparked a fresh debate on relationship roles after getting incredibly candid about his future wife. Appearing on the latest episode of the You, Me & A Glass of Wine podcast hosted by Jima Emmanuel, the artist didn’t hold back as he laid out his traditional marriage expectations.
When asked if he was in a relationship, the singer replied that he was not, but added that discussions about his future wife were a serious matter.
“No, I’m not in a relationship, but if you’re talking about my wife, it’s something serious.”
The interviewer then asked whether he would mind if his wife did not know how to cook. Zerry DL responded that he would, insisting that his wife must know how to cook.
“I mind. She must know how to cook. My wife must know how to cook.”
When presented with the idea of hiring a private chef instead, the singer rejected the suggestion, saying he is a traditional man and believes his wife should know how to cook.
“Hell no. I’m a traditional man, so my wife must know how to cook.”
