‘Increase Your Efforts’ — President Tinubu’s Daughter, Folashade, Demands Faster Rescue of Oyo School Captives

In a rare and significant critique from within the first family, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s daughter, Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, has called on authorities at all levels of government to aggressively intensify their rescue efforts following the recent mass abduction of students and educators.

Speaking during a condolence visit to the Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye, Tinubu-Ojo acknowledged the efforts already being made by the authorities but stressed that more needed to be done.

“I know that the Federal Government and the State Government are working fervently to secure the release of these children and their teachers, but they should do more,” she said.

She also called on residents to remain vigilant and cooperate with security agencies by reporting suspicious individuals or activities in their communities, urging them to speak up whenever they notice unfamiliar faces or unusual signs around their environment.
