You’ll become a billionaire in 6 months if you follow my teachings – Pastor Korede Komaiya

The lead pastor of Masterplace International Church, Korede Komaiya, has claimed that followers who practise his teachings could become millionaires within 90 days and cross into billionaire status within six months.

In a resurfaced video recorded during the church’s Sunday Service on March 15, 2026, Komaiya spoke about financial success, stressing the importance of speed in achieving one’s goals.

Komaiya said, “If you do what I teach, you will be a millionaire in 90 days, if not shorter. If you do what I teach, you will cross billions in six months.”

He then pointed to what he described as positive testimonies from members of the church, saying, “Look at all the good reports, look at all the good reports, look at all the good reports.”

The pastor used the analogy of a race to emphasise the importance of speed in life, telling the congregation, “Life is a race and in every race, speed is a determinant. Life is a race and because life is a race, speed becomes important.”

Komaiya further said, “Speed is critical because life is a race. Speed is cardinal because this is a race.”

He also asked members to tell their neighbours that they were in a race, saying, “Can you help me tell your neighbour quickly, we are in a race.”

The pastor subsequently referenced 1 Kings 18:46, which recounts how the hand of the Lord came upon Prophet Elijah and gave him supernatural strength to outrun Ahab’s chariot.

He said, “And when supernatural speed answers, 1 Kings 18:46, in the Amplified Classic, 1 Kings 18:46, the hand of the Lord came upon Elijah, giving him supernatural strength. He gathered up his loins, outran.”

Komaiya concluded by linking the biblical passage to divine intervention in achieving success, saying, “When the hand of God is upon you, you will always overtake,” he said.
