A 42-year-old Texas woman, Colleen Nichole Lemmon, has been arrested after allegedly sh@@ting and k+lling her two sons inside their mobile home in Waxahachie, Texas.
Ellis County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the home on Big Sky Drive around 4:13 a.m. on Thursday after an emergency caller repeatedly hung up, according to a search warrant affidavit obtained by WFAA.
When deputies arrived, Lemmon reportedly yelled for more officers and told them she had a gun. They found her “covered in blood with a gun next to her” and with what appeared to be self-inflicted cuts on her wrists.
According to the affidavit, Lemmon told deputies, “I sh@@t both of my kids,” before directing them to the bedrooms.
Deputies found 21-year-old Christopher Scott Pitre and his 15-year-old brother with gunshot wounds to their heads. Christopher was pronounced d£ad at the scene, while his younger brother was rushed to hospital but later d+ed from his injuries.
Lemmon was initially taken to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Waxahachie for treatment before being transferred to the Wayne McCollum Detention Center.
She is facing two counts of capital m+rd£r, with her bond set at $2.5 million. Authorities have not disclosed a motive for the alleged attack.
