Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has said his fight against insecurity and cultism is not a new responsibility for him, recalling that he began engaging in spiritual warfare as a teenager.
Speaking at the Voyage Service, Okpebholo said seeing young people standing in the presence of God reminded him of his early years and his involvement in casting out demons.
“When I see young ones standing in the presence of God, I remembered at 17, 18, I already started casting out demons,” the governor said.
He added, “So, fighting insecurity and most especially cultism is not a new thing to me. It’s something that has been happening.”
Okpebholo’s remarks linked his current efforts against insecurity and cultism in Edo State with what he described as his longstanding experience confronting such challenges.
