Nigerian Afro-fusion singer and Entertainer Damini Ogulu Popularly known as Burna Boy has emerge the ‘Best African Act’ at the 2019 MTV Europe Music Awards.
The event, which took place on Sunday in Seville, Spain announced Burna Boy as the 2019 best African act. The artist who has since the realease of his ‘African Giant’ album has taken a further step in his career with the win as he promise to keep the fire blazing.
Meanwhile, aside winning the “African Best Act” award, Burna Boy had a great night as he became the first Afrobeat artiste to sell out the SSE Arena with thrilling performance and an eye catching entrance.
The sold out concert which was held at the 12,500-seat SSE Arena also Features Davido, Dave, Manifest,ij Wstrn and Stormzy performing.
