Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki dumps APC

Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, has resigned his membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The governor made this known on Tuesday, June 16, after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

Speaking with state house correspondents, Obaseki said he would pursue his ambition for second term in office on another platform.

Recall he was disqualified from participating in the forthcoming APC primary election over issues bordering on credentials.
