2027:1 Have Told Nigerians That If They Vote Tinubu, I And My Wife Will Go And Live In Ghana-Amaechi

Former Rivers State governor, Rotimi Amaechi, has alleged that President Bola Tinubu deliberately postponed the full implementation of a newly passed tax law to avoid jeopardising his chances in the 2027 presidential election.

In a video circulated by Symfoni TV, Amaechi claimed the president intends to enforce the law more strictly next year if he secures re-election. According to him, Tinubu is cautious about rolling out the policy in full at this time because of its potential political consequences.

Amaechi explained that under the proposed implementation, significant deductions could be made directly from business transactions. He gave an example, stating that if he purchases building materials worth ₦100 million from a trader, as much as ₦25 million could be automatically deducted from the trader’s account under the tax framework.

The former minister also declared that he has already made his position clear to Nigerians ahead of the 2027 polls. He said if Tinubu is re-elected, he and his wife would relocate to Ghana.
