Abu Bakr Al-baghdad , ISIS Leader Died in US Military Operation
Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, The leader of the Islamic State of Iraq & Syria (ISIS) group, whose real name was Ibrahim Awwad Ibrahim al-Badri, has been killed in a US military operation in northwest Syria. The death of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi has been confirmed by the President Donald Trump
According to President Trump, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi detonated his suicide vest after fleeing into a tunnel, chased by US military dogs and the tunnel caved on him. One of the US dogs was injured in the operation.
The Leader of ISIS, Baghdadi became prominence in 2014, created what they called a “caliphate” in areas of Iraq and Syria, imposed a brutal rule on almost eight million people, and was behind many attacks around the world.
According to OsmekNews, He established ISIS groups several parts of the world, including their collaboration with W/Africa´s Islamic terrorist group, called Boko Haram.
Baghdadi was accompanied by three of his young children and His detonated suicide vest killed all the three childrenl. The blast mutilated Baghdadi’s body but an on-site DNA test confirmed his identity.
“The thug who tried so hard to intimidate others spent his last moments in utter fear, in total panic and dread, terrified of the American forces bearing down on him,”. President Trump said
The forces targeted the compound using eight helicopters, which were met with hostile fire, President Trump said. The commandos entered the building by blowing holes in the wall, avoiding the main door which was booby-trapped.
“He was a sick and depraved man, and now he’s gone,”. “He died like a dog, he died like a coward.” said President Trump.Syrian Kurdish-led forces – one of the main US allies in northern Syria took part in the operation, which they called a “historic” joint operation.
President Trump praised them, as well as Russia – which opened up the airspace it controls for the operation. Trump also thanked Iraq, Turkey and Syria for giving “certain support” to the operation.
